Use of Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA)

Without knowledge of what our government officials are doing, we cannot progress Jefferson County Foundation’s mission. The Foundation therefore has an active effort to use the West Virginia Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) to obtain important documents. In the last 12 months, the Foundation has filed more than 35 FOIA requests leading us to be able to take action on a number of fronts.
